How do you convince parents to let girls finish school?

Where the obstacle is not fees but that families need the labour at home and see school as a cost with no return, what changes minds?

Ask what time school starts as well. If the real conflict is morning chores, a later start or a second session can do more than any amount of persuading.

Changing the hours had not occurred to me. I had taken the school day as fixed.

One approach is to introduce families to somebody local who finished school and now earns. A person they can meet is more convincing than an argument about the future.
